The experience takes place in nature in Cortona, on Mount Ginezzo. The raptor is completely free and will have the opportunity to fly above you, landing on your arm in response to calls during the planned trek.

During the experience, Davide will accompany you, explaining the behavior, communication, migrations, and life habits of raptors in the wild, the basic techniques of falconry, and the art of raptor training, now recognized as UNESCO heritage.

During the trek, we will be accompanied by a Harris's Hawk, which will follow us to the summit of Mount Ginezzo (a panoramic viewpoint).

The walk is approximately 1 km long from the parking area and involves gentle slopes and an unpaved dirt track.

To reach the parking area, you will drive for about 5 minutes on an unpaved road – a typical Tuscan 'strada bianca' (white gravel road). This road is easily passable with compact cars, sedans/family cars, and SUVs. (Cars with low sports suspension are not recommended).

The price is per person (children under 6 years of age are not permitted). At checkout, please indicate the quantity based on the number of participants.

After booking, you will arrange the appointment time with Davide. The scheduled date may vary in case of rain or lack of ideal wind conditions for the flight.

The experience is non-refundable. Should rescheduling be necessary (e.g., due to weather or as agreed), a new date will be arranged for subsequent days.

If the client needs to reschedule the date for any reason, they may do so up to 48 hours before the appointment, and a new date will be arranged.

If no notice of cancellation or rescheduling is given at least 48 hours prior to the appointment, the experience will be considered completed, and no refund will be issued.

In these experiences, the animals are completely free to express themselves with the surrounding environment and with people, under the supervision of the animal trainer.

The animals may, out of curiosity or for other reasons, use their beaks and/or grip with their talons/claws. In the event of such incidents, both the animal and Davide Varrucciu are released from any liability or responsibility for damages caused to third parties.

The nature trail used for the experience is public. Therefore, Davide Varrucciu is released from any liability in the event of any accidents involving the client (e.g., falls, slips, or other similar incidents).
